SoundSnap! Get Podcasting!

Thanks to Doug Belshaw for pointing out on his Edutech Roundup site, the excellent SoundSnap website. The website has been set up to share free sound effects and music loops. All sounds on the site are original, made or recorded by users of the site, and the principles behind the site are that sounds and samples should be free for everyone to use in their projects.

This has excellent potential for podcasting projects and I am really looking forward to making use of these free sounds over the summer as I explore podcasting and vodcasting further. (a little warning – there are some ‘less appropriate’ sounds on here – but there are also some that could be very useful).

Weekly Update Bulletin – Update 71

My apologies for lack of content being posted on here over the last couple of weeks – things are rather manic – planning a final fieldtrip for the end of term and trying to get things sorted and ready for the start of the new term whilst still teaching! I will be making an effort over the holidays to populate the site pages with lots of links to training materials and will keep the blog updated with any new developments that take place over the summer. There wont be an update for a couple of weeks – but here is this weeks (issue 71) ready for download!

Hopefully there is something useful here for everyone!
